Profile:
Michele joined Gillam & Zetzl, Inc. in 2011 after employment in private accounting since 1983 and not-for-profit accounting since 1998. Her background includes bookkeeping, payroll, financial statement and income tax preparation, auditing, and small business management in areas of manufacturing, finance, and construction. She is a former co-owner of a small construction company.
Education:
Michele is a 1986 graduate of Ivy Tech College with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She has continued in additional education in General Studies at Indiana University East and has attended Earlham College Institute for Executive Growth.
Associations and Community Involvement:
Michele is a member of First English Lutheran Church and serves as President of the Pet Haven, Inc. Board of Directors. Her past community experiences include serving in various offices for the Wayne County Historical Museum, Eastside Optimists, Richmond Music Boosters, and the Program Advisory Council for Accounting Technology at Indiana Vocational Technical College. She has a special interest in historic preservation. She has instructed in area band camps and coached girl’s softball.
